My name is Miro and I'm a mother of two, an illustrator and author currently living in the UK. I always loved drawing but it took me a long time and support from loved ones to see it as a job. After getting my electronics engineer masters degree, I worked for a few years in that field. While still working there, after getting a graphic tablet for my birthday, I’ve started all sorts of tutorials and reading all the books I could find on graphic design and illustration and found a job in the field as well. After illustrating a few children's books for various authors I decided I needed to write as well. Whether it's picture books or non-fiction books for kids (books with activities), I really enjoy writing and illustrating for little ones. As a hobby, I love crafting. Papercrafts, softwood, bookbinding, needle felting, and more enabled me to spend a lot of quality time with my little ones. We enjoy our board games a lot and I’ve attempted to create a few of our own but their time is still to come. A nice walk in nature or seeing new places, inspire me to write and sketch more and have the right set of mind for starting a new creative project.
