Christine H. Huynh, M.D. has been practicing in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since 1998. She treats the physical body but finds the treatment and training of the mind equally important. She is enthusiastic to share a topic that is dear to her heart: the philosophy and practice of Buddhism for adults and children through contemporary writings so that the teachings are easy to understand. She is passionate to present the Buddha’s teachings in a clear and engaging format with applications to many life’s examples for each practitioner to grasp and bring to practice. Check out her books: For Adults: The Symbolisms in Buddhism; For Children's series Bringing the Buddha's Teachings Into Practice: My First Dharma Book, The Buddha in Me, The Great Ullambana Festival, The "I"s in Me, My Middle Path, and Going on a Pilgrimage. Check out the newly published, fun-filled book, Happy Birthday, Buddha!, that explains the significance of the Buddha's birthday and Vesak holiday.
