Mr Dave Eagle

Dave is a lifelong lover of the night sky.

He established Bedford Astronomical Society in 1987, when he took up astrophotography and has been involved in astronomy clubs all his life.

Dave studied for a degree and later a PGCE as he loves to educate and encourage the love of astronomy in all its forms.

Dave runs a mobile planetarium which he takes into schools and public events, to wow and educate the younger (and not so young) generations. This is now being carried online, where his workshops will be available to schools that he is not able to travel to.

A prolific observer and astrophotographer Dave writes his imaging guides so he can encourage others to take up this wonderful hobby, often known as The Dark Art. He makes the perplexing process of image processing much more accessible to his readers.
