Ben Owens

Ben Owens is a Hobby Grower based in Colorado who has spent more than a decade working in and writing about cannabis. He started growing in 2019 and began making his own extracts shortly thereafter. In 2023, Owens launched the GrowHort, an online cohort-based community for first time growers designed to streamline the learning process and get results that encourage exploring the hobby further. Outside of class, Owens grows a balance of feminized, regular, and auto flower varieties, with a specific focus on hash producers. He is the author of Stoner Survival: A CannaVenture® Field Guide, and Mr. Boomer's Magic Kitchen, a psilocybin cookbook.
