Steven Schimmrich

Steven Schimmrich has been a Professor of Geology and Earth Sciences at SUNY Ulster County Community College since 1999 where he's also served as STEM Department Chair and an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. Steve's research interests are in the geology and geologic history of the Hudson Valley Region of New York State and it's geoheritage - the influence of geology on the region's history, development, and culture. When he's not working on home renovations, Steve enjoys hiking and wandering in wild places.
