Ronda Green, PhD, is a zoologist conducting ecological research and leading educational wildlife tours. She has had a lifelong fascination with all things living and an enthusiasm for sharing this with others. Her major research topics include animal/plant relationships and effects of habitat modification on wildlife. Before starting university, she ran a holiday farm focusing on nature studies, horsemanship and animal care in the Adelaide Hills, and now lives with husband and son on a rainforest property in Queensland. She has travelled in both city and wilderness areas of all non-polar continents, and has been an invited speaker in and Australia and Brazil on ecology and animal behaviour themes, and in Australia, Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia on sustainable wildlife tourism. She is currently chair of both Wildlife Tourism Australia and the Scenic Rim branch of Wildlife Queensland.
