Gosia Herba is an awarded artist, illustrator and art historian from Poland. For over 15 years, She's been working for various publishers, magazines, music labels, and ad agencies. She's also an illustrator and author of books for children and graphic novels. After graduating from the National School of Fine Arts in Wrocław and receiving her diploma in jewellery-making, she went on to study Art History at the University of Wrocław, focusing on the history of illustration. After which, she started to develop her illustration career working for numerous publishers, magazines, music labels, and advertising agencies. Recently her interests have shifted towards children's books. Gosia has exhibited her work at various children's illustration exhibitions around the world, such as the Golden Pinwheel Young Illustration Competition, Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava, Tallinn Illustrations Triennial, and IBBY Poland Showcase. Her illustrations were selected for the 2020 and 2021 Bologna Children's Book Fair Exhibition. "Invented by Animals" won the 2022 Blue Peter Book Award in the non-fiction category.
