Lori Cluff Schade PhD LMFT

关于作者

Lori Schade, PhD., is a licensed marriage and family therapist and AAMFT-approved therapy supervisor running a therapy practice in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She specializes in emotionally-focused couples therapy. Her clients and family continually provide her with new challenges and teach her new lessons daily, so she doesn't get too bored. As a couples' therapist, she attempts authenticity by putting the principles she uses with her clients into practice at home with her husband of 33 years, who is an exceptionally good sport. Her favorite activities are reading, traveling, running, tandem cycling with her husband, knitting, playing the organ, and trying new thing (not necessarily in that order, and certainly not all at once). She does not enjoy writing about herself in third person. She is convinced that grandchildren are one of life's best kept secrets, and frequently yearns for an effective youthful energy elixir (that's legal). She owns a gray "picket" fence, which she considers metaphorical. If you care about the duller stuff, she has been an adjunct faculty member in the marriage and family therapy department at Brigham Young University, as well as adjunct faculty at Utah Valley University. For over three decades, she has practiced therapy alternately with raising 7 children, and has published several peer-reviewed materials related to her profession.
