Kristen Moon is a leading national authority on medical school admissions for Direct Medical Programs and traditional MD and DO. As the founder and CEO of Moon Prep, an educational consultancy, Kristen leads a team of dedicated and trusted professionals that deliver on a clear mission: partnering with ambitious students to prepare them for a successful journey into medicine. With a particular focus on MD, BS/MD, and BS/DO programs, Kristen has assembled a team of experienced independent counselors and mentors who build long-term relationships with students and their families, carefully advising them one-on-one through the entire application process. What started as working with only a handful of students each year, has since grown to dozens of counselors distributed across the United States, working with hundreds of aspiring medical students across the world. The Moon Prep teams partner with these aspiring medical students to navigate the challenging admission requirements and focus on crafting compelling applications that convince, inspire, and leave a lasting impression on the admission committees of their top-choice programs. Kristen resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Rok, and their daughters Zoe and Sophie. She holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a BS in Engineering from Stony Brook University.
