My most frequently asked question.
Where did I get the idea for this novel?
As a young man I explored the setting of my novel A New Beginning: The Smoke of One Thousand Lodge Fires. The caverns were a fascinating place, as were the wall etchings within the cave. The people who lived in that cavern hundreds of years ago left an impression in my soul as a young man. I knew I wanted to tell their story, I did not know it would take fifty years for that story to make its way onto the page. Where did I get the Idea, does not seem the correct question. Perhaps, where did the inspiration originate, is a better question...
