Val Karanxha is a Western Connecticut State University lecturer who teaches bilingual education and second language acquisition theories and principles. She is a five-time fellowship recipient at Yale - Teacher Institute, specializing in Latin American Studies and post-colonial Africa. Val Karanxha is a published author and a contributing author with Routledge Publishing. Throughout the years, she has written various articles published by Yale New Haven Teacher Institute and international pedagogy journals. Val Karanxha has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Southern Connecticut State University and is fluent in five languages. Her research involves work in comparative politics, policy matters of bilingual education, and multicultural education.
