Vikrant Pande

Vikrant Pande has been translating Marathi classics into English. Vikrant's translation of Girish Kuber's The Tatas, How a Family Built a Business and a Nation got the Gaja Capital Best Business Book 2019 award. Incidentally, Raja Ravi Varma, Rau Bajirao Mastani and Shala, were made into award winning films based on the Marathi original. Vikrant is a regular speaker at various Literature Festivals and is advisor to Kalinga Literature Festival, After graduating from IIM Bangalore, Vikrant spent 2 decades in corporate career and is now a full time translator and author. His book In the Footsteps of Rama, Travels with the Ramayana, has received excellent reviews. His recent book is The SBI Story, Two Centuries of Banking
