Anthony Newland

When Cow Lost Her Moo is the debut work of the young author Anthony Newland who is inspired by the progression of the young minds within his life. Anthony Newland is a new author who has been inspired by an influx of new arrivals within his family. Anthony has always been interested in writing and as a child would often write short stories and can even remember writing a screenplay which he performed alongside his cousin at Christmas in front of his family - albeit a very short play and the acting leaving much to be desired. Anthony has fallen in love with children's stories. The joy from being able to create such amazing storylines with the intention of inspiring, teaching and entertaining our next generation is unmatched. Anthony Newland was something of a bookworm as a child leading to him reading many stories since as early as he can remember. With the help of his spouse who works as a primary school teacher Anthony continues to read these stories and often revisits that space in his mind that is still occupied by the young reader within. Anthony Newland originates from South London and has always had an interest in writing through a number of forms including poetry, screenplays and short stories. The dive into children's book writing came very naturally for Anthony as his interaction with children in his family, his wife who is a primary school teacher and his love of Disney/Pixar movies came together to inspire his debut and the many stories to come. Anthony still works in his 9-5 role but the desire to write and create still courses through his bones which has lead to the creation of many stories and ideas. He intends to grow into a better author and intends to share all of his best ideas for the world to enjoy (and to give the parents of the world a few moments of peace and quiet).
