Janel Lamb

Janel Lamb was born in Duluth Minnesota September 17,1974 to Judith Sortedahl and Kevin DeRusha. Living in rural Minnesota she grew into a life rooted in homesteading and running around in the woods around her home. At age 7, her parent and little brothers traded country life for city life, and followed family to Arizona, where she attended Edison Elementary, Kino Jr High, and Mountain View High school. Upon graduating High School in 1993 she immediately began to pursue her lifelong goal and passion to become a hair stylist, to help others feel and become the best version of themselves on the outside, which would hopefully translate to feeling their best on the inside as well. She met the love of her life, Mark Lamb and was married to him on september 23,1994. She continued to pursue her love of cosmetology and worked in her home salon all while having 5 children. Cade, Sadie, Cooper, Wyatt, and Dayton. Over the years their family moved to Florida and Utah, but ultimately settled back in their home of Arizona. Raising her family as her husband grew in the public eye of Politics and Law Enforcement, She supported her husband and family in staying true to their strong LDS faith, overcoming challenges, and serving their community. Janel currently resides in San Tan Valley with her husband and the few remaining children at home, and has 1 grandson.
