Alex Amit writes historical novels that focus on women during one of the darkest periods in history - World War II, in which the worst of human cruelty clashed with the best of the human spirit. The women in Alex’s stories are forced to confront their deepest fears, facing evil and terrible dilemmas. In order to survive, save their loved ones, and ultimately triumph, they must fight against all odds. In his writing, Alex sheds light on the untold stories of female resilience in the face of adversity.

Alex began his career as a romantic novel author, but following his third book, he felt the brave heroine spirit of that time must be told. After dedicating more than a decade to studying the history of WW2 and equipped with a BSc in Psychology, he started writing his first historical novel.

Alex is a father to two young adults, male and female, who are taking their first steps in the adult world, and the owner of an old and anxious dog. He is also an amateur photographer, painter, and sometimes a poet.
