Author Ginnie L. Hansen writes stories about her wild adventures. Her feel-good, true stories evoke both laughter and tears with tales of grizzly bears, wildfires, cowboys and more. For many years, Ginnie and her husband drove from Florida to Montana with their precocious cat, Trouble. Her first book, The 30,000 Mile Cat: Travels Across America describes how Trouble, a stray cat, became a pampered backseat passenger in their cross-country travels. The stories include colorful characters and surprising experiences in different parts of the country. Traveling with Trouble, a cat with a bold and loving personality, was not easy. Eventually, Ginnie and her husband decided to relocate to Montana. What seemed to be one more drive across the country turned into a months-long trek due to restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the inspiration for the second book, The 30,000 Mile Cat: Moving West. These stories have an uplifting twist as Ginnie shares how she and her family found joy in unexpected places. Ginnie and her family persevered and settled in Montana where she enjoys hiking and skiing. Stay connected to Ginnie on social media - @ginnielhansen and #the30000milecat.
