Bobbie Peyton is a writer who lives with her two little (but ferocious) dogs in Oregon. She was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States as a baby. She is a former special education high school teacher, who believes that every student is special. She earned a MA from Tufts University and a MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University. Her debut picture book, Dancing the Tinikling, illustrated by Diobelle Cerna, publishes on August 15, 2023 from Sleeping Bear Press. She is represented by Erin Murphy Literary Agency.
