Aloha! Yes, my real name is Ocean Ramsey. I am a shark behaviorist, ethologist, conservationist, surfer, and a freedive and SCUBA instructor from Hawaii. I specialize in shark behavior and safety. I have a diversity of specializations, degree's, and certifications, however the majority of the unique information I share comes from over twenty years of working daily with sharks in Hawaii and also traveling the world working as a safety officer, research, conservationist, and guide.
My primary goal, and what I've devoted my life to, is shark and marine conservation. I hope that my written works inspire you and also help you to educate others on how to coexist with sharks as safely as possible in a preventative and proactive way.
