Dr. Poore's vital strategic planning framework has assisted organizations with innovative growth and turnaround, strategic fundraising, venture capital development, storytelling, branding, identity building, and civic engagement.
Carol’s executive and strategic planning roles have included serving as president and CEO of a healthcare and clinical trials research center, as vice provost at Arizona State University, as vice president of a medical technology incubator, and as a marketing executive and senior strategist at Salt River Project Water and Power, one of the world’s largest public power utilities and suppliers of water-based in Phoenix, Arizona.
A faculty member at Arizona State University since 2011, Carol teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in leadership for change, public policy, and community development. Her extensive board leadership service, as well as her heart for community philanthropy spans hospital and healthcare, bank, municipal, university, and nonprofit social services, economic development, and arts/culture organizations.
Author of Building Your Career Portfolio (Cengage), Carol provides inspirational keynotes and professional development workshops, webinars, articles, and interviews focused on leading with purpose and strategic impact.
