Aloysius Andrew Widziewicz grew up in Connecticut, and was surrounded by eccentric nuns, mountains of food, and his tender and crazy mystical family. He has been a priest, a volunteer firefighter, and a therapist. Ten years ago while doing a tour of duty as a MFLC (Military Family Life Consultant) working with PTSD soldiers at Fort Drum, he began to write. Gratefulness to Joanne Dobson, extraordinary author and mentor. And to each and every member of the Thursday Evening Workshop at the Hudson Valley Writer's Center. From each, Al has learned to be a better writer and more importantly, a better human being.
