For almost 20 years, Dana has been an international educator, working with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, writing textbooks for the University of Texas and other publishers, training Texas teachers through professional development workshops and consulting school districts. She has taught World Geography, AP Human Geography and many other subject areas, as well as fourth grade, the age of the main character.
