Following a rewarding 24-year career as an Air Force pilot and commander. Terry was called into the pastorate of a large church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was Executive Pastor supervising eight other pastors during a time of exponential church growth and construction of a new facility. Later, he served as general manager of one of the most popular national outdoor sports television shows on the top ranked Outdoor Channel. He was founder and president of the Connie Thompson Foundation for cancer awareness and patient support. Throughout his life, Terry has applied his writing talent to books, periodicals, proposals, promotional pieces, Bible studies, and college-level curricula. In 2007, he authored "The Aviator's Devotional," a very popular book among aviation enthusiasts. In 2011, his second book, "A New Strategy for the War on Cancer," advocated cancer treatment through complementary natural therapies. Terry is a prolific speaker and writer including a popular blog, Terry Thompson on America. He taught various business and communication courses online and in class for John Brown University for 11 years. He is an Elder of Crossgate Church in Hot springs, Arkansas. Terry and his wife, Linda, have four children.
