Mark Dennis is the author of the DI Thompson detective novels, starting with 'Coldhearted' with 'Lamb's Tail' being the most recent. All are set in Nottingham, UK. He also writes the Nova Scotia birder-murder mysteries, including 'The Frigatebird', 'Nor'easter', 'Sea Glass' and 'The Collector with more pending. If Sci-fi is your thing, try 'The Harvesters' and 'The Elementals' and for a laugh try 'War and Peas'.
Those who have read his work profess to have thoroughly enjoyed it, although they might just be being kind. Prior to taking up messing about with people in print, Mark previously published semi-autobiographical birding books and also site guides for naturalists. These guides are available from his Amazon platform. He also has fourteen birding travelogues to go at and an apocalyptic tome called 'Survivor'.
As a dyed-in-the-wool birder, when Mark isn't thumping the keyboard or swearing at Microsoft Word, he's out checking for birds on his beloved Cape Sable Island in Nova Scotia, Canada.
