Luke Potter

I've been gardening for over 50 years and can't imagine a year without a garden. My first job was on a farm and my passion for growing food resulted in me earning a BA in Environmental Studies from Brown University in 1978. Since then, I've taught gardening and home canning classes to homeschool kids and written books, and produced how-to videos on the topic. I believe that simple sustainability is the way for us to move forward as individuals, families, and communities in this increasingly sterile and tech-driven world. I'm also an avid home canner and preserve everything I grow. I march to the beat of my own drummer and invite you to do the same.
