Carl's father was an astronomer and that is where his interest in all the mysteries of the universe began. As a youngster, he enjoyed nothing better than watching the stars with his father and his brother, Homer.
Carl wanted to know more about the principles that govern everything around him. To satisfy his natural curiosity, studied physics and quantum mechanics in Europe.
Nowadays, he finds himself at the opposite end of life. Having had a satisfying career, he now has time to share his interest in science with readers that, like him, are curious in how the world works at a quantum scale. He likes to experiment and he recently started to learn coding with quantum computers.
Carl wants to share his knowledge and show how easy and rewarding it is to assimilate
the basics of science. In his opinion, you don't need a huge commitment to get started, only the desire to learn and a lot of curiosity.
