She was born in a diplomatic family and spent half of her childhood in South America. Elena studied at the Faculty of Law, but at the age of 25, she realized that she liked traveling more than working in an office and applied for a job as a flight attendant with a major airline. Her first book, a humorous memoir full of sarcasm "The Diary of a Stewardess. Between Landing and Takeoff" became a bestseller in Russia. The book was sold in three editions and was included in the top 10 best books of the Biography genre in 2019 in Russia. The second book "Women's Upgrade" was awarded the Russian National Prize for literature "Manuscript of the Year.". Elena is an avid fan of sports —especially figure skating.
