Stacy W Kish MS

I grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania. I knew at an early age that I wanted to taste and explore the world. I entered a small state university to begin my undergraduate career and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in geology and minors in music and anthropology. I wasn’t quite ready to enter the real world, so I ventured off to Oregon State University where I received a Masters Degree in Oceanography for my project on climate change in the eastern equatorial Pacific. I have worked in industry, government, and academia, writing about the latest science to understand climate change to food safety. After 20 years, life has come full circle. I am excited to be home in western Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy learning about Earth science as much as I have.
