James H. Whittaker

James Whittaker is the co-founder and CEO of The Ambitious Exec, a highly successful career consulting company with more than 2,000 client success stories and millions of dollars of direct and verified salary increases as a result. James was hired into Deloitte, the world’s biggest consulting firm and more competitive than Harvard Business School, in the middle of the 2008 Great Recession when hiring was at a 100 year low. He had a Chemistry degree and work experience in a cinema serving popcorn. James quickly climbed the ranks before moving from the UK to Deloitte NYC, where he was promoted to Director and was a key member of the Global Hiring team. He was responsible for hiring some of the brightest minds in professional services, government, IT, marketing, sales, tax and accounting. James’ vision is for everyone to be working in careers they love, doing work that fulfills them and getting paid what they’re worth.
