Dr. Dewey. E. Painter, Sr. is a retired US Naval Supply Officer [LT] and is currently serving as Chaplain Lt. Col., as a Chaplain Recruiter for the Civil Air Patrol USAF/Auxiliary National Headquarters. Sir Dewey was knighted into the Military Order of St. Michael in 2002 where he assumed the duties as the Grand Knight under the Duke of Salem and as such was also given the title of Count of Salem. He is Co-Founder and Executive Director of the South East American Indian Council, Inc. [2010] and Founder and CEO of Mission Harvest America, Inc [1991]. He is Past Chancellor or President of Heritage Baptist College, Freedom University and Seminary, Founder Kings Bible College, Chancellor and Founder Liberia Christian College [Liberia], Executive Vice President Coral Ridge Seminary, he is currently Chancellor of Taongi National University Monrovia Liberia. He is the International Executive Director for International Education Professional Accreditation Association, which originally was the International Christian Education Association founded by Dr. George Overby in 1973. He has served or is serving on Board of Directors and Upper Leadership Positions in 14 Community based nonprofit organizations. He is currently serving on Community Action Boards for University of Florida College of Pharmacy and University of Florida College of Journalism, HEMI, Florida Occupant Protection Coalition, Advisory Board for Mayo Clinic Spirit of Eagles, and Project Manager for contract projects with Florida State Department of Health and South Carolina State Department of Health for American Indian Cancer and related programs. He is an Active Elder member of the White Bear Muskogee Tribal Village in Florida. His Professional Membership and Achievements include Professional Clinical Member and Certified Pastoral Counselor, National Christian Education Association. Certified as a Post-Graduate Professor, Post-Secondary Teacher, and Secondary Teacher. He is listed in “Who’s Who in the South and Southwest,” “Who’s Who in American Education,” and “Who’s Who of International Professionals.” He was awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment by “Who’s Who of International Professionals” and awarded the Military Chaplaincy Association’s Distinguished Service Award 2003. He is an author who has published three books, “Where Love Finds A Way,” “Senior Citizen Manual," and “Nuggets from the Old and New Testaments. He has written and self-published books, “Poems I Once Wrote, 1973”, “Aviation Shipboard Supply Support Manual,” 1977, “Christian Veterans Association Manual,” 1990. “In His Steps and Theirs,” 1993, "Practical Guide for Chaplains Group and Unit Level," 2000, “Logistical Support of Missions,” 2000. He has several books being prepared for publication.
