Binny Talib is an award winning Author/Illustrator/Surface pattern designer based in inner-city Sydney. Binny has a whimsical, contemporary style and has illustrated over 30 books here and internationally, ranging from picture, baby board, Non-fictions and chapters. Her debut as an author /illustrator Origami heart with Hachette Australia was also released in the UK. Her Picture book with author Lisa Shanahan was awarded an honour from the CBCA and received a short list medal for the Prime Ministers literary awards. 65000 copies were distributed to the children of Victoria for their prep bags, and her career highlights was when it was turned into a brail book for visually impaired.

Binny’s book with Sarah Tagholm published by Rocketbird Books UK “ SAM FRANCISCO KING OF THE DISCO” snuck off to Glastonbury Festival to feature as CBeebies Bedtime Story! Read at Glastonbury Festival by the incredible Abigail from The Last Dinner Party. Sam Francisco now features as a CBeebies bedtime story on the CBeebies Channel UK.

She most recently released, Stewart the Goodheart Published by Reycraft NY, Sloths love Parties published by Affirm, The Bewilderbeast with Scholastic, Sam Franscico king the disco with Rocket bird books UK, Affirm Press Aus, Annick Press North America, and I Spy Treasure with New Frontier.

Binny also creates Wallpaper, cushions, and porcelain mugs for grown ups. Her wallpaper is produced with the wonderful Milton and King can be found here. And her Mugs are produced by the famous German porcelain maker Konitz.

Binny creates happily on beautiful Sydney harbour with other lovely creative folks drinking copious amounts of dandelion tea and is inspired by her Border Collie. There has never been a dessert she hasn’t liked, seriously.
