Alicia Kozma

关于作者

Dr. Alicia Kozma combines a practical focus on media labor with critical inquiry to understand how media industries work, who works in them, and how the labor of media workers is constructed. Dr. Kozma is intimately concerned with the role of women laborers, their hiring and employment conditions, and the industrial strictures that have led to historically inequality, specifically in film and television workspaces. She has a secondary interest in gender bodies, and horror. Dr. Kozma is Chair and Assistant Professor of Communication and Media Studies at Washington College. She holds a Ph.D in Communication and Media Studies from the Institute of Communication Research at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
