Amy Adler is a clinical research psychologist and senior scientist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Besides authoring more than 160 articles and book chapters, she served as lead editor for the book “Deployment Psychology: Evidence-based Strategies to Promote Mental Health in the Military” (American Psychological Association, 2011). She also co-edited the 4-volume “Military Life: The Psychology of Serving in Peace and Combat” (Praeger Security International, 2006) and “The Psychology of the Peacekeeper: Lessons from the Field” (Praeger, 2003). She received the Distinguished Service Award from The Military Health Systems Research Symposium in 2019, and is a fellow of the American Psychological Association.
