Tabitha Israel is a former education journalist, and English teacher. Today, she works as a children's book author; her titles include the children's play, "A Hard Head Makes a Soft Behind: Black History for the Hardheaded," and three children's books: "What Name Does The Creator of All Things Call Me?" "Can I Give The Creator a Hug, a Kiss, or a Fancy Gift?" and "Why Do We Believe in Things That Deceive?" As a professionally trained researcher and writer, Tabitha has spent the last decade reading and writing about Black Hebrew (Israelite) identity, giving both her non-fiction subjects and fiction characters palpable spark! Her latest Children’s Book, "Why Do We Believe in Things That Deceive? addresses the sometimes hard truth about pagan holidays. Today she lives and works out of her home in metro Atlanta, Georgia with her three children and loving husband.
