Aderemi T. Adeyemi discovered a passion for writing while working as a Para-educator serving wonderful groups of special children, ages 5 and up. While reading lots of children’s books to his students, in the classroom, he fell in love with the simple art of story telling. He wondered how he could learn more about it. Then one day an amazing idea struck and he penned his first story, titled Lil’ Phyllis Loves To Laff. Not surprisingly, it was about a student’s antics in the classroom. The twist was the protagonist had his mother’s infectious laughter. You see, his mom had always laughed louder than anyone, and infected those around her with her joy. That inspired him to make a book about it. Adeyemi doesn’t just like to produce books. Sometimes he likes playing the Djembe, a game of chess, a walk in the park, and a hot cup of green tea.
