Yum Asia

For many years, we, the owners of Yum Asia had been in love with Asian food but found that the biggest problem was that we couldn't replicate the perfect rice which you can readily get in Asia and good restaurants. No matter how hard we tried, rice cooked in a saucepan just wasn't the same! After some really disastrous purchases of non-fuzzy logic rice cookers, which rather than cooking the perfect rice we were looking for, just spat out starchy water all over our kitchen worktop, we bought a Zojirushi fuzzy logic rice cooker and it changed the way we cook completely. This is how Yum Asia began and has since become a leading rice cooker brand having pioneered several technologies related to rice cooking.

We established our Greedy Panda food blog 10 years ago to provide our customers with ideas, inspiration, knowledge and recipes and it has grown in popularity for many rice lovers. We were repeatedly told that we should put our recipes in an ebook or paperback to make our recipes and knowledge more accessible but often we were too busy to find the time. The Covid19 pandemic enabled us to knuckle down to writing and, after a year aty work we released the Greedy Panda cook book - written by us the rice cooker experts for any rice lover or rice cooker enthusiast.

So please do join us for what we like to call our 'rice cooker revolution' but really it's more of an awakening.
