Amanda Barnes

Amanda Barnes is an award-winning writer and sought-after specialist in the wines and travel regions of South America. She is author The South America Wine Guide: The definitive guide to wines in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia & Peru, published in print in 2021. After moving to South America in 2009, Amanda founded southamericawineguide.com as a digital wine and travel guide in 2013. Amanda is also a writer and contributor for Decanter magazine, The World Atlas of Wine, Hugh Johnson's Pocket Wine Book, and Fodor's travel guides to Chile & Argentina among other international publications.
