Jaye Starr is graduate of Hartford Seminary’s Islamic Chaplaincy Program. Taking time off from further clinical training to raise children, she's enjoyed staying connected to chaplaincy through writing and in service as a board member with the Association of Muslim Chaplains. She additionally serves as a community liaison on the Ethics Committee at a large research hospital. Jaye previously studied with the Fellowship at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE), at Al-Amana Centre (Oman), and as a Luce Fellow at Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia). She is a recipient of an Islamic Scholarship Fund award and Hartford Seminary's Celie J. Terry Prize. Jaye earned her BA from Smith College.
