Bruce Haley

Bruce Haley is a recipient of the Robert Capa Gold Medal for his coverage of the ethnic civil war in Burma. For over 30 years Haley has produced hard-hitting documentary work relating to conflict, humanitarian crises and environmental/industrial/land use issues. His photographs have reached a global audience, having appeared in artist monographs, major magazines and newspapers, in museums and galleries, even on CD and DVD covers and rock and roll tour merchandise. Those who know him say that he is very reclusive and usually found in remote places.
