Maya Amadi Howard is a leader in holistic wellness, an intentional practice that encourages individuals to create wellness routines that address nutritional, physical, social, spiritual, psychological, financial, and emotional wellbeing. She is trained in nutritional science, plant-based cooking, yoga philosophy, and therapeutic exercise.

With her experience growing up in the predominately Black and Latino community of Inglewood, CA combined with various cultural immersions from travel experiences, Maya has a unique lens into the wellness needs of BIPOC communities.

Her journey to becoming a plant-based recipe developer, cookbook author, and wellness leader was deeply inspired by her upbringing. Despite having humble financial resources, her parents created an atmosphere that ignited her passions for community education, urban gardening, culinary nutrition, and creative expression.
