Dr. Matthew V. Glowiak

Matt Glowiak, PhD, LCPC, CAADC, NCC earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) and M.S. of Mental Health Counseling and Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University. Matt is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CAADC) in the State of Illinois as well as board certified through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). He currently serves as core clinical faculty with Southern New Hampshire University as well as contributing faculty at Walden University and Yorkville University. Matt’s passion for mental health is comprehensive in that he enjoys counseling, teaching, writing, presenting, advocacy, and most everything else the counseling field has to offer. He has a local mental health television show, Mental Health Matters with Dr. Matt, in his hometown of Bolingbrook, Illinois. Though published in a variety of textbooks, peer-reviewed articles, and other media sources; this is his book debut. Outside of work, Matt values time with family and friends while living life to the fullest.
