Tabassum is a product manager with more than 14 years of experience who believes in Lean Product Development and the Platform First approach. With the increase in the number of channels that a product is consumed by and the growth of "APIs as Products," businesses cannot continue as one size fits all approach.

During her 9 years of product consulting career, she has helped a lot of companies transform from Product to Platform thinking. She has helped companies create strategies and roadmaps for:

● Building a Platform ground up that can be consumed by multiple external channels

● Transitioning from Products to Platform

● Channels and User Applications that are consuming capabilities(APIs) from different Platforms

She is an experienced Platform Product Manager who has worked with senior product leaders and executives of large enterprises in migrating from product to platform, defining the product and platform strategy, building and executing product road maps and continuously shipping products to markets. She knows the mistakes that organizations make when moving to the Platform model and has developed frameworks for companies to avoid those mistakes.

She has also done coaching and consulting on various Agile and Product Management topics like:

Currently, she is working as a Sr. Product Manager with Amazon. She is also a product advisor for Classroom Hunt, the company she co-founded.
