Nancy Buell moved with her husband, Bill, to Barrow, Alaska from Oregon in 1979. She spent most of her professional career in Alaska. When she came back to Oregon in the last few years, she discovered the box of writing included in "Time Share" and "Time Share Addendum". She has enjoyed writing a hybrid memoir, in which an elderly widow with Aspergers tries to determine what her future will be. This hybrid memoir is partly true and partly imagined. Her newest book, "Distant Early Warning," written with editing and plot suggestions from Bill Buell, is the sequel to "Just Politics." These are the first two books in a series about cold cases in Alaska. All of Nancy's books spend a good deal of time in Alaska, where her heart is.
