John Pearson lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and enjoys hiking, photography, cooking, and writing prose and poetry. Though he is a professional geologist, he has always been a writer. Besides writing, John was also editor of a collection of short stories by his father, William Pearson. He is currently working on some other writing projects, so stay tuned.
A horrific car crash changed John's life and the trajectory of his family. He is a survivor of many years of grief, depression, and physical and emotional healing and raised two wonderful children as a widower and single parent. Even so, he accepts every day as a gift and believes everyone has a compelling story to tell, if people just listen.
