Daniel Grace

Hi i'm Daniel Grace, a retired Australian cabinet maker with a life time of experience working with timber. I started my apprenticeship back in the sixties when times were slower, it was a good time to learn the art of cabinet making in a traditional way, also it was the start of modernization in the industry.I moved on to fitting out luxury yachts where i learnt a whole new set of skills. I started my own cabinet shop where i made furniture and kitchen cabinets out of a lot of different timbers, that's where i acquired my love of working with different species. Now retired, making wooden boxes is a passion of mine which i will try to share with you in this book.
