I have worked in healthcare for over 30 years. I started out as a candy striper. Yes, that was really a thing. I was 12 years old and bebopped around the hospital in my little pinstriped apron passing out water and juice to the patients. At the age of 16 I earned my CNA certificate and was pretty proud of myself. Six years later, I had my associate degree in nursing. A couple of years ago I upgraded to a master's in nursing and then continued on to earn my doctorate in nursing. I have had a lot of interesting jobs over the years. I am currently a PACU nurse, a circulator nurse and a college professor. I decided to write a few study guidebooks to help nurses who are planning on becoming certified in their chosen specialties. It was either that or write about the other thing I know a lot about, hiking. But I decided no one wanted to read about me wandering around the woods, so here we are. I hope my books help some of you, even in a small way, to design a study plan for your test prep. All my example questions are unique, so you won't see them anywhere else. Good luck and happy hiking! Or studying. You do you.
