Children's books can be the most magical experience for a child. There is nothing more exciting than diving into a book that sparks your imagination and keeps you wanting more. Cheryl loved reading books to her two boys when they were young. As an elementary school teacher, she enjoys reading to her students and sparking the joy of picking up a book. Her first children's book, The Superpowered Alligator Wrestling Ninja, is based on her own son's imagination and the stories he would tell her when he was little. Her second book, Someone to Love, is based on a tiny, old chihuahua she adopted from a local dog rescue. Cheryl's books all have connections to her life and tell a story of someone or something that has inspired her. Cheryl has self-published thirteen children's books and has a new series she is working on for 2024. Her books have adorable illustrations and interesting storylines that are perfect for elementary-age children. She loves to use creative writing tools to make reading fun for children. From superheroes to puppies to flamingos, Cheryl's imagination is as wide as the ocean and she can't wait to share more with her young readers.
