Susan Hougelman is the owner and operator of Simple Life Tours. Having grown up in the Amish Country side of New Wilmington Pennsylvania, Susan has lived amongst and done business with the Amish community for more than twenty years. Through her unique experiences as an Amish tour guide she has been welcomed into the Old Order Amish Community not just as a business acquaintance but as a trusted friend and confidant. She has combined her passion for writing, her love for the Lord and her love for the Amish people to create a book of inspirational stories and photographs of the Amish people of Lawrence County. Susan in a wife to Joseph, a Mother to Ally and Lauren, a Grandmother to Averie and Alexis and English "Mommy" to many Amish children.
