Dr. Nafeesah Allen

Nafeesah Allen, Ph.D. is an expat, multilingual magazine writer, and mom to third culture kids. Originally from New Jersey, she has lived in Spain, India, Mozambique, Angola, South Africa, and Peru and currently speaks four languages. To overcome the lack of bilingual early reader story books that depict Black children as protagonists, she created a dual language series to fill the gap.
