Melanie Brown

Melanie Brown is a prolific writer of transgender fiction. She’s lived her whole life in the desert of West Texas. As a child, she tried her hand at writing science fiction stories. She also created her own comic books. She went through a long stretch of not writing. She worked in IT writing software and trying to streamline processes. And then she got a BA degree in Art. Her hobbies at the time were art and motorcycling until she discovered personal computers. She started reading TG fiction on-line and found most of the stories lacking. So she tried her hand at writing and wrote The Reluctant Girlfriend which became very popular. And then real life hit and she stopped writing for a long time. She found a TG story site called Sapphire's Place and got inspired to write again. When that site went belly up, she started publishing on another TG story site called Big Closet where her stories can still be found. Most of her stories are romantic young adult coming of age stories with a transgender male to female theme. She doesn’t write erotic fiction though a few stories contain sexual situations. Her story topics range from high school dating to wars on alien planets. She’s a big fan of science fiction and loved computer programming and likes to travel. She lives at home with her dog Theo.
