MARNIE STOCKMAN wanted to be a math teacher since 2nd grade. She loved the power of numbers and had a passion for helping others learn and grow. After graduating summa cum laude from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD, as a math major, she began teaching high school in Caroline County, MD. After 7 years in the classroom, she became a stay-at-home mom for 7 years. Because 7 apparently is a magic number, she then became an administrator and then spent 7 years in Customer Success, becoming Sr. Director of Customer Success for a leading Ed Tech company (picking up her doctorate in Educational Leadership along the way). Scaling Customer Success in those 7 years taught Marnie many things. One of which was that she cherished working with creative problem-solvers who enjoyed helping other businesses grow. She and a colleague set out to find a way to do that in a company of their own. This led them to another friend who owned an MSP and had a problem that the group could solve by building Lifecycle Insights. The team at Lifecycle Insights unanimously made "grow raving fans" their number one core value. As their QBR/vCIO tool grew more and more raving fans, they saw a new need in the MSP space. There was a need for data, education (and humor never hurts) to help MSPs define, refine, and scale their Customer Success programs. The technical team began building an industry-disrupting Customer Success platform made for MSPs. And Marnie wrote the book on it, Literally. When Marnie isn’t Lifecycling, she can be found playing volleyball with her husband Frank and two twenty-somethings, David and Josie. (Or checking her email while repeatedly chasing a golf ball around). Marnie believes you can attain success by working hard, using data, and killing ’em with kindness. She would love it if this book helped your MSP create a killer success program.
